Welcome to What's Beyond Forks? Forum!
In case blogging about it wasn't enough, I needed a place to chit chat with people about fictional books so, I thought I'd give this a try.
We only have a few rules to go by to keep our forum friendly and fun for all members. We are still learning what works or doesn't work for us, so check here often for any changes. I'm keeping the forum basic for now. As we grow and topics become popular, they will get their own categories and/or sections on the forum. I'll also be adding bookish avatars for you to use soon, so keep checking back.
The Golden Rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated. I'm are very protective of forum members. So, breaking of the Golden Rule will not be tolerated.
Language: Please keep topics and language appropriate for all eyes to see both in the Shout Box and on the forum.
Networking/Promotions: Only network/promote your blogs, books, etc in the designated threads. They will be clearly labelled.
Spam: Let's avoid spam. Please don't post the same thing multiple times. For example, posts about upcoming tours or giveaways. One post is enough.
Sources: If you are posting any pictures, news, or writings that are not your own, please include the source in your post.
Profiles, Signatures, & Avatars: You can set up your profile, signature, & avatar by accessing your "user control panel" in the menu under the banner at the top of the page.
Double Up: Please do not double post. Check the forum to make sure your topic isn't already being discussed.
Shout Box/Chat: The Shout Box is open 24/7 for any members to mosey in. No rules, but the Golden one.
I think that's all for now. Check back here from time to time as we may modify this section as we grow and learn what works or doesn't work for our community.
